The Marly
Brief
The Marly is one of Newtown’s most historic watering holes. With the gentrification of Newtown and the arrival of a younger patron, this iconic had outgrown its look. Solotel enlisted Monster Children Creative to help them recalibrate the brand with a new visual identity.
The Work
Working closely with the venue, Monster Children Creative came up with a brand identity and tagline to reflect the effortless personality of the venue - THE MARLY. WATERING NEWTOWN SINCE 1860. From signage to uniforms to digital assets and collateral, the visual identity and language system has been rolled out to create consistent and strong communications reflective of an iconic watering hole.
