Taking Bud to the streets
In 2015, MCC was charged with creating a fresh campaign for Budweiser that would resonate with an Australian audience. In response, we took Budweiser onto the streets and into the hands of social influencers. Through an impactful street poster and digital campaign, we tapped into Bud’s innate cultural relevance, and focused on the three constants of youth culture: America is its engine-room; cultural insiders have the most influence; their social lives rule their lives.
Extended for Halloween, the campaign took on a new dimension, with the original posters being given a macabre midnight makeover by Sydney artists We Buy Your Kids. An unforgettable Halloween party hosted by Budweiser completed the campaign.
